Project Background

On 16 October 2017, the Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton T.D. and the Minister of State for Higher Education, Mary Mitchell O’Connor T.D., announced a PPP programme for the Higher Education sector. The NDFA will procure the PPP programme on behalf of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation & Science and the Higher Education Authority. The NDFA is the financial adviser for the PPP programme.

This investment under Project Ireland 2040 will be in two bundles with a focus on STEM, ICT, Engineering and Life Sciences at 11 Institutes of Technology in various locations around Ireland.
